I am a lover of things old and irreplaceable. I also like to use vintage pieces, especially primitive pieces from the late 1800s to the early 20th century to create collage vignettes for display as home decor.
I love to collect vintage and antique items that evoke a time gone by, at estate sales and thrift shops. I was in the fashion business for many years, and am particularly drawn to fashion and its changing styles. Vintage sewing patterns are a great snapshot of "the fashion of the day".
